A: The goal of the Localloop Certification program is to identify the best-in-class local businesses. Q: What does Localloop Certification mean to consumers?
A: Localloop Certification provides consumers with peace of mind when deciding whom to buy from. Our independent verification process ensures excellence in all aspects of a company's operations and a high level of customer satisfaction.

Q: What does "Certification Pending" mean?
A: "Certification Pending" means that Localloop is in the process of evaluating the prospective business but has not yet collected enough customer reviews to issue a Quality Business Rating. We require 4 STAR or higher Quality Business Rating based on a minimum of 20 reviews to ensure we have a statistically significant rating of a business's performance and not just the opinion of a handful of customers. Additionally, local businesses that want to become certified have a 90-day time limit with which to complete the certification process so that reviews reflect current condition of the company. If a business fails to complete their certification within the 90-day limit, it must wait 180 days to re-start the process. This policy ensures that the business in question is truly an ethical and accountable business that is serious about providing excellence in all areas that are required by Localloop.

Our Opportunity Engine reinvents business-to-consumer communication by providing an infinite loop of trusted information. Our Opportunity Engine was engineered after listening to the needs of 10,000 people who simply wanted a respectful, honest communication platform. This platform honors individual and social boundaries, educates versus sells, is easily accessible and always secure.

Q: What is Consumer Trafficking?
A: Consumer trafficking is an insidious practice that uses free social or commerce platforms to attract consumers in order to collect personal information (i.e. name, address, email address, age, race, sex.) These platforms then use this information to track and analyze every aspect of your Internet behavior. This includes your social, search, and commerce activity for the purpose of creating digital consumer profiles. Your electronic data profile is then packaged as “leads” and sold to the highest bidder on the open market. We strongly believe this is an organized and immoral activity in which people are being exploited by giving up their privacy and freedom to be anonymous in order for Internet giants to generate enormous revenue and profits.

Q: What is the Quality Business Rating (QBR)?
A: The Quality Business Rating for each business is directly impacted by their level of participation on the Localloop platform. The more a business participates, the higher the score. Factors impacting the QBR score include:
  1. Completely filling out a Certified Business Listing profile so that consumers are able to see the company logo and find information about the business and its products and/or services;
  2. Completing our highly impactful Strategic Marketing University;
  3. Populating our knowledge library with articles about their industry;
  4. Adding deals, job listings, Association memberships or a blog on their profile page; and
  5. Fully participating in the Localloop community by sharing photos and videos and adding friends.

These are just of few of the 31 Points of Accountability. We can’t list them all because it’s part of our secret sauce, but rest assured that each Point is designed to help businesses improve their ability to meet your needs. We encourage businesses in the Loop to increase their QBR by fully leveraging the Localloop platform so that you can see their company in the best possible light.

Q: Can Localloop or Certified Businesses edit Customer Satisfaction Ratings?
A: Neither Localloop nor Certified Businesses can edit Customer Satisfaction Ratings posted by our Consumer Members. To ensure the integrity of our ratings, we utilize a proprietary 3-Step review process which combines powerful technology with human review to ensure all Customer Satisfaction Ratings meet our guidelines, before they are posted to the website. If the rating is questioned, we will go back to the Certified Business and Consumer Member to answer questions and clarify their experience before posting the rating. In addition, we do not remove Customer Satisfaction Ratings from the website unless the rating, or the reviewer, is found to be in violation of our Terms of Service.

Q: Does Localloop ever remove a Customer Satisfaction Rating?
A: Rarely. Our proprietary rating process, which combines powerful technology and human review, ensures that nearly all Customer Satisfaction Ratings meet our guidelines. However, our Terms of Service specifically details the following reasons for a Customer Satisfaction Rating to be removed: 1) Conflicts of interest: Your feedback should be unbiased and objective. If there's any hint of a conflict, don't post the feedback. For example, owners are prohibited from giving feedback on their own businesses or their competitors, and users shouldn't comment on their current or former employers. 2) Second Hand Experiences: For example, you can't give an auto repair shop a bad rating because your neighbor complained constantly about their squeaky breaks. Your Customer Satisfaction Rating must be about your personal experiences and nobody else's. 3) Personal attacks: Expressive language is ok, but there's no need for rude or obnoxious behavior. To learn about more things that can get your Customer Satisfaction Rating removed, please visit our Terms of Service for details.

Q: Can Certified Businesses respond to my Customer Satisfaction Ratings?
A: Not directly. However, everything about the Localloop community requires transparency, for both the business owner and consumer. If you Rate a Business, the Certified Business may choose to Dispute the Rating. If this happens, Localloop will contact you directly (not the business) to confirm that you were indeed a “real” customer of the Certified Business. We will ask you to provide us with a receipt, contract, or invoice showing that you purchased the product or service being rated. Once we have concluded our investigation, the rating is either placed or removed depending on the outcome.

Q: Can I rate a business not listed in Localloop?
A: Absolutely! First, you need to Nominate the Business. Then you can go to that Business Profile Page and select the “Rate This Company” button to initiate a new review. We will then contact the business you have nominated and rated to join the Localloop network.

Q: How does Localloop protect the website from fraudulent Customer Satisfaction Ratings?
