PRIVACY PROMISE

Last Updated: November 09, 2015

That’s right, you read it correctly – Promise. We want you to know that honoring and protecting your privacy is a huge part of our mission. In fact, it’s the main reason Localloop was created. To secure your privacy , we have created something you will not see on any other search engine or social websites. We call it, “The Nuke Button.” With two simple clicks of a button, you can wipe out 100% of your personal information on the Localloop website. Guaranteed! However, we mean what we say and there is no going back. If you delete your profile and decide at a later date to rejoin the Localloop platform, you have to start over again and recreate a new user profile.

To provide some background about why we take your personal privacy seriously, Localloop was developed in an effort to create a safe and secure place on the Internet where people can socialize and transact business without having to sacrifice their personal privacy. Our goal, in essence, is to create a place that operates very much like a small town, with the same standards, expectations and values. Values like respect, honor, accountability, dedication and decency.

Imagine a place on the Internet where you can walk down the street (go online), socialize with your friends and neighbors (chat and post pictures) and window shop (learn about products). Now imagine doing these things without someone inserting themselves into your relationships and without someone trying to take advantage of you.

That is our goal, and that is why protecting your privacy is so important to us. We promise to do everything we can to not just honor and protect your privacy, but to honor and protect you as a fellow human being as well. We want you to be clear about our desire to protect you, not just to give your peace of mind, but also to empower you and invite you to hold us accountable to keep our promise. So, with all that being said, here is our PROMISE while you are a user on our platform:

  1. Localloop will never sell, rent, trade or otherwise share or disclose your personal information to anyone or any third party;
  2. Localloop will only use your personal information to enhance your user experience; and
  3. Localloop will always tell you how we are going to use your personal information to enhance your experience, and you have complete control to opt out of such use at anytime.
  4. You can instantly and permanently delete your information and content on Localloop and be forgotten.

Our Privacy Promise continues below with some specific details about how we will handle your personal information. As you would expect, the privacy language also serves to protect Localloop, but the spirit and true purpose behind this language is to outline appropriate boundaries necessary to ensure that our relationship will be and remain a healthy one if you choose to join us.
